A special edition of our Friday Evening Hours with recipes from guest chef Taffy Elrod, who will also be in the shop at 6 P.M. to sign copies of her cookbook, The Juneteenth Cookbook: Recipes and Activities for Kids. This book features recipes that make for a wonderful Juneteenth celebration and also work well for any other gathering of family and friends throughout the year. Heading into the holiday gathering season, we're excited to share some of her delicious bites. Our menu will include:

Pulled Chicken Sandwich with Rub A Dub Rub and BBQ Sauce with Pickled Red Onion
Impossible Burger with Rub A Dub Rub and BBQ Sauce with Pickled Onion, Lettuce, and Tomato (Vegetarian)
Jubilee Tea w/orange slice
This will be a full menu takeover, so no BLTs, but we will be serving our usual beverages of craft beer, wine, hard cider, and mocktails.
