In 1795, The town of Rotterdam built a market at 35 North Ferry Street so that rural farmers could sell their produce in the burgeoning city of schenectady. Just 12 years after the American Revolution, the opening of businesses was a sign of confidence in the new nation. Now, 230+ years later, our continued commitment to serve our community is another vote of confidence in the future of This city.
