  • Arthur's Market 35 North Ferry Street Schenectady, NY 12305 United States (map)

Looking to better understand coffee and the factors that affect flavor? Deepen your knowledge with our Coffee 103 class on processing. This class looks at how coffee beans are processed (natural, washed, and honey processed) in order to help you navigate the vast array of choices and hone in on the flavors you prefer.

In this class we’ll discuss the three primary methods of processing coffee — natural, washed, and honey processed — and what flavors to expect from these different methods. We’ll also sample the same coffee beans processed each way in order to compare apples to apples on how the process affects flavor.

  • Coffee tasting flight.

  • Scone or coffee cake of your choice.

  • 12oz bag of No Six Depot coffee to take home.

  • Printed guide for your reference.
