We have a unique opportunity this month to demonstrate the impact of roasting on the flavors we all enjoy in each cup of coffee. This February, we’re serving two coffees — one dark roast by Number Six Depot Coffee Roasters and one light roast by Knockabout Coffee Roasters — that both use beans from the same farm in Chiapas, Mexico.
This gives us the opportunity to compare how the level of roasting applied by each roaster impacts that flavors we all ultimately end up enjoying!
In this class we’ll taste both coffees side by side, discuss how they compare, and discuss the roasting process and the way it impacts the coffee we all enjoy.
